I step more aggressive

My 1st post!!!!

Love the site!!!

I currently use:

1. Grey clay bar.

2. Meg #9 w/ yellow meg pad on PC

3. Autoglym Radiant Wax w/ grey finishing Pad.

I'm wondering if there is a product a little more aggressive than #9 but safe for a novice. The #9 does not get the micro scratches but does prep the finish nicely for the RW

I have 2 diff detail suppliers in my area. They carry complete lines of:

Megs

Autoglym

Mark V

Production

Mothers (is made by Mark V)

I usually use Mark V for tire dressings and car wash stuff, microfibers etc.

I am one of those guys that likes to have the best so lay it on me. Turn my auto world upside down.

From the lines you listed Megs #82 is slightly more aggressive than #9 but not much more. #80 Speed Glaze is probably your best bet. It is used and liked by many on Autopia.

poolvibe- Welcome to Autopia!

I'd jump past the #82 and go to #80. It works well by hand/PC and is very user-friendly. IMO the diffs between #9 and #82 aren't enough to justify having both. #80 will give you more cut but still leave a ready-to-wax finish.

Thx Guys!

nother quikee question..

Ive heard some say that autoglym has enough polish in it to skip the #9

im assuming the yello megs pad would be ok for #80

And do i have to wait to put carnuba on top of RW. (what exactly is RW anyways)

Any thoughts?

U guys r the greatest! Lovin this site!
