How do you guys discern the pads???

After reading this forum for over 3 years (even more seriously now), whenever I am reading the Click and Brag or even the Detailing Discussion section, I noticed people posting that they used the "orange pad" or the "yellow pad."

Each company makes different color pads. I'm so confused sometimes trying to figure out which pad is which.

Can we make something up, like if I used an Edge Yellow pad, we can say "Eyellow pad" or a Lake Country yellow pad would be " LCyellow pad"

:hairpull

Also, will the "decoder ring" be updated soon with the new additions?

This has always urcked me.

Cant stand it when people put "green pad", "orange pad", "grey pad" ect.

For the most part, I've found that people are referring to LC when they don't mention what brand pad they're using. As best I can tell, Orange pad always means the same thing as the orange foam used by LC, Edge, and Sonus is the same thing. Yellow signifies aggressive with most brands as well (other than Megs). You can usually figure the rest out.

It really dosent matter to me anyways, im more interested in what liquid product and machine they used.

Well, I think it is LC sometimes too, then I ask or read on, and it's and Edge pad....

Either way, something, anything would help... I'm one for learning from others and trying a technique out and perfecting it, hard to do sometimes when I don't have a good base of knowledge to start... :hairpull
