Well today I spent a couple hours on my gf's Infinity G35 X and did a full detail. I decided to try out Mothers new Reflections on this detail. Let me say this. I will put this new product right on par with Zaino and thats really saying something. As far as durability goes only time will tell. For an OTC product this IMO is by far the best. IMO it is wetter looking than Zaino with a shine just as good and doesnt look as plasticy looking.
Now on to the detail. She had just taken it through the car wash when I got there. So I used Zaino clay to clay the car. I only did 2 panels and got ZERO dirt out of the paint and it felt no smoother so I ended the clay there. I went over the entire car with Formula 113 Bead X to get the spots the car wash missed. I then used 3M Swirl remover for dark cars and this really made this car smooth looking and removed the scratches. Then I did one coat of reflections. This is how it turned out.
BTW anybody here know if you can layer Reflections? It is advertised to have mild cleaners and I am affraid this may negate the previous layer.
Car wash
Bead X QD
Clay bar--2 panels=no dirt removal
3M swirl remover
Reflections
FX tire shine
