Saturday was the first Ford I have done in a while it was an 03 Explorer XLT with Black Fabric seats, the fabric was something new to me and was extremely hard, next to immpossible to get clean, it almost has a wax feel or finish to it, I could not get good results with any of my normal interior tactics including my Hot water extractor. Anybody come accross this with Fords and have you found a good way to tackle it? I have heard that it is in quite a few different models and would like to be a bit more prepared next time.

My boss has a Ford F250 with the tan colored cloth like this...I ordered him some Chemical Guys Fabric Clean Heavy Duty along with the Fabric Guard and it worked great, looks like new in fact. He tried many other tactics before this but kept having spotting or the circles of whatever product he use appear.

Do 1 section at a time, vaccume it immediately and make sure the seat is 100% dry before giving it back to the customer. The less time you allow the water to sit, the quicker it will take to dry. Think of it as extreme extraction.
