Exchanging backing plates between PC and rotary

I always thought it was a waste not being able to use backing plates from both rotary and PC on any of them, so I have made these adapters that work just like that:



- One can use a BP from the PC on the rotary and another from the rotary on the PC.



The adaptors:

PC w/ rotary BP and 3M 8" finishing glaze pad:

Rotary w/ PC 4" backing plate:

that 3m pad is supposed to be used w/ a random orbital to apply their finishing glaze! That's why I wanted to use it with the PC and that backing plate.

Lake Country makes them already if you can find someone who sells them...
