Ever used Liquid Glass?

I saw this liquid glass stuff and read the side of the can and it says that steel wool is required to remove it with mineral spirits. Sounds dangerous. Have any of you guys ever used this stuff and if so how did it work out for you? looks like something that I would try only on my Hoop-D wagon, Only problem is that one can of the stuff costs one third of what my beater is worth.

Liquid Glass as in the LSP Liquid Glass? I don't think I'd be trying to remove anything off the paint with steel wool....

I've never used it but I think some people have a decent opinion of the stuff.

I believe that the side of the can was describing how to remove it in prereration for a repaint of the car or boat.

This is what I was looking at. Is this stuff just a sealer? I read again and it says that the steel wool business that I had mentioned is standard procedure to remove any type of wax before a repaint. I want to put a sealer on my buick but I want to know that this stuff is safe before I use it.

I put one coat on about 5 wks. ago, and wish I had put on 2 to give it a fair chance. Compared to NXT 2.0. Liquid Glass is a little more expensive and I feel the application and shine were more than adequate, but durability of one coat did not do it for me.

I would try 2 coats next time.

I have used that product many times, and I'm not really a fan of it.

It enhances the shine pretty well, but the durability is a problem.
For the cost, there are way better products you could buy :D
