Edge Hook and Loop Pads

Today I was drying my brand new Edge Hook and Loop polishing pad and the thing fell apart as I turned on the PC to help dry it. I guess thats what I get for trying to save money on pads and not for getting more of the Meguiars pads that I like so well.

At what speed where you trying to dry it at
I have heard of that happening with the pad that comes with a PC but not really with the Edge pads.
You could try and send Aaron and email, I'm sure he would like to know about it.
I'm not too sure of his exact email but you could send him one by looking up his screen name. it's The Edge.

Good Luck and Happy New Year

yeah Aaron would be very grateful if you let him know. I'd bet he would take care of any issues you might have.

Contact AAron - He is the most professional man I have ever dealt with. I can tell you that the new pads have heat resistant adhesives. Did you use it on 6? He replaced all my pads and sent me a new adapter. All is good now and the pads work very well.

Dear Sir,
I have read your post and understand you have a problem with the pads. Since I don't know exactly what happened please contact me toll free at 1-800-315-EDGE to discuss your problem and send you replacements immediatly.

Just a little update on the pads....I talked with Aaron from Edge and he is sending me a new pad to replace the one that separated from the velcro. I just mailed off the defective pad to Aaron. He told me in an e-mail that I might have got an "old" pad that was known for separating from the velcro so he is mailing me a new one that is supposed to be a newer pad with better adhesive. Hopefully I won't have problems with the other pads that were purchased at the same time this pad was purchased. Now that is great service! I am very pleased with the customer service I have had with the few encounters I have had at this website...Detail City is AWESOME!

Yes they do have good service :bigups
Not sure what speed you were drying on, but I would not go above 3-4 for safety reasons.

Yes hopefully you won't. When I had this problem, I just sent all my pads back for a replacement. Good luck.

*UPDATE*
I just received 2 new Edge pads from Aaron even though I only sent him the 1 that was damaged. Hopefully these will have better durability. Too bad I probably won't get to use them until the Spring time unless we get some more really nice weather here in Southwest VA. The Edge has some great customer service. Another positve once again here at Detail City!!
