Detail Questions

Hi there okay i just bought a brand new 2008 ford explorer 2 weeks ago and where i bought it the salesman said they would detail it but i think they just took off all the stickers and gave it a wash because when it rained i didn't see any beadding. So i decieded to give a quick detail today washed with turtle ice car wash and then dressed tires and rims and then went over the truck with megiuars quick detailer then used stoners invisible glass on the windows what a mistakes i had a haze on every windows in the truck and a gressy residue so to get it off all the windows i have to use 50:50 with water and alochol but then i notice that i got a little overspray of stoners on my truck what a diaster i had white marks everywheres so i sprayed the 50:50 all over my truck to cut the grease then i washed the truck with liquid detergent and then once again with the turtle wax ice car wash just wondering what i should do to my truck to protect it like what products and in which order Thanks in Advance

Are you saying that Stoners glass cleaner left greasy streaks on your glass and paint?

just get a nice OTC wax like NXT and wax it. nothing fancy or hard about it.



ive never had any problems with IG streaking on my windows. maybe it was the cloth you were using?

thanks for the replys and about the IG I just went back out and tried it once more for the heck of it and it worked great no striking must have been cause it was colder the first day i did it or something cause i used the same cloth
