Dodge Ram 1500 in Black - RESSURECTED

This was the dirties vehicle I have yet to come across. The interior was one step away from needing a Haz-Mat team. To give you an idea of how soiled it was, I diluted APC in a 5 gal bucket and used that to scrub down the interior plastic trim. I went through 20 gal of water ( 4 buckets full) and it turned each and every bucket load to murky swamp water. The filthy interior was mainly due to YEARS of smoking, there was even a thick film on all interior surfaces that was sticky from all the smoke.

This vehicle is seriously neglected and even has some rust spots on the running boards. To be honest the only reason I accepted this job is because of the challenge it presented as I really needed one. I have taken the liberty to crop out all areas with rust for the sake of capturing decent pictures.

That's a great look. I've done a car that I have needed a gas mask to do the interior. So I know how you feel on those bad details.

Nice correction work. I just couldn't imagine letting the interior of my car get that bad! Hopefully the pay was commensurate with the amount of work you obviously put into it.

Great job...

agreed that is a whole lot of black paint....that interior reminds me of the one I did for a smoker, its a LOT of work. Great job!

Those trucks are beautiful (when clean!) I had a red one and sold it when gas started to get past 2 bucks a gallon - one of my smarter moves. I have to ask - how long did that take?
