Collinite Holding Up Well

NYV6Coupe

Livin' the good life
It's been about 4 months since I prepped my Accord for winter with 3 layers of #476. Aside from the snow, salt, ice there's been over 20 hand washes & countless trips to the touchless wand-wash. No additional products have been applied, not even a QD, so the final results in the spring will be known.

The tight, round beads pic was taken on October, the other pic was taken today.

The beading isn't as tight as it was originally but after 4 months I'm pleased that there's any beading at all. I've never had a product last this long.

I did all our cars with Collinite in the fall and washed them on Sunday and had the same results. For some reason, the one I did with Insulator Wax held up the best over the 476s. I couldn't resist trying out #80 on my truck so I layed down some more Collinite when I was done. I've got a big can of 476 and I'm buying 1 every other week when the supplier stops by work.

I decided to leave the car as-is & just keep washing it (hand wash and/or touchless) when possible. I was tempted to do another layer of #476s but I really would like to find out if it'll last through the winter.

I'll post pics as time & weather allow.
