Anyone use one product line exclusively for paint care?

Zaino for me :D

Polish....just started doing this step and started with PB SSR1. Didn't get favourable results but am willing to try again.

I'll make it 0-3.....

Optimum, Four Star, PB's, One Grand....I am tinkering with the FS Body Shop line, so far so good, FS UPP is my go to 95% of the time for sealant, so FS may take the cake after some additional evaluating....

As of now it looks like I will be using Duragloss products . Can't find a reason to use anything else for the total job on my vehicles. Mike

As of now, no, but i'm interested in doing an all duragloss detail inside and out just to see what i can achieve with cheap OTC products.

I stick pretty much with Meguiars. I've been using their products since 1970. Every time I try something else I end up going back to Meguiars. They have a "good tack record".

I have bought all the rage products..4*...OCW...Pinnacle..Wolfgang...Klasse (which I still think is a great product..old version) Meg's...poorboys..Sonus...Menzerna FMJ..and a few others ...Now after winning a auction with the whole Duragloss line (in Nov.). I find them to out perform the rage products...better shine..better durabilty...easier to apply and remove...and best yet easy on the wallet..and available local..or cheap shipping....

All their other products work just as good as their sealants...glass cleaner..trim products..tire products..wheel cleaners...QD..glass polish...

only products I use other than Duragloss is 3M polishes..and Menzerna polishes...and Klasse...

They make a fine product...also great customer service...any problems you speak right to the chemist/owner....

I'm mostly using Zaino for paint now but there is a mixture of product on other areas. I use P21S Gel and EO All Wheel for wheel cleaning and I use 303 Aerospace on door seals and 1Z Scheibenklar for glass.

If I had to choose one, it would be Meguiars. We currently use mostly all of there cleaning chemicals (super degreaser, apc+, hyper dressing, qd and more) and the more I use there polishes and waxes such as #66, #21, #83, #80, I am wowed by the quality of outcome I get for the price I pay.

I find it hard to believe that one product line has the ability to come up with the best product for each stage of detailing. I also don't like to have to committ all my funds to one company, especially if their product line is finicky about experimenting with other lines.

AND I DON"T LIKE HIGH SHIPPING AND HANDLING :bawling:

I use Klasse for Polishing

Werkstatt or Poorboys for sealing

and now Duragloss AquaWax and FK 425 for post wash upkeep.

p.s.

I may never use expensive paste waxes again

For those that use Duragloss, any experience using the Swirl Mark Remover #671 or the Buffing & Polishing Cleaner #652?

For the most part I exclusively use Four Star products on my SUV. I've tried a few other brands, including Poorboy's SSR 2.5/Pro Polish, but I've honestly have not had to get that aggressive since. I generally don't use their clay bars any longer (cost), but aside from that a typical detail on my SUV will be all Four Star: shampoo, UPC and UPP. I'll follow that up with UGE and UPP spray.

For swirl removing, and one step products like PWC I use Poorboy's. For glaze and carnauba toppers I use Clearkote. For QD's, all purpose cleaners, and interior dressings I use Wizards. For tire dressings I use Armor All. So, the answer is no.

90% of what I use is Poorboys. Great products and great smell too.

when did duragloss become the big rage, i guess i've been gone for a while. Where can these products be found.

Most of their products can be found at Napa, Autovalue or Carquest stores

My local Carquest didnt have the whole range of Duragloss (didnt have the aquawax:( but Im sure if you asked them they could order it for you - or their online shipping is very reasonable)
