Another New Use for ONR !

I was visiting the detailer at one of the dealers I supply and I was surprise to find that he is mixing ONR with Amour All as an engine detailer, I saw him detail the engine compartment and he says the ONR pulls the Amour All down almost like a no touch product like CD2

very inventive! Any idea of ratios used? My parents have a bunch of armorall that needs to be used up or disposed of.

i was always under the impression that armor, when used over time, can lead to cracks in rubber (not a good thing under the hood...)

AA has been around for a long time and in the many years i've been using it, i've had no problems...

As long as you stay away from the solvent-based AA formula that is clear and oily (do they even make it any more?), it's fine. A good rule of thumb: If it looks like skim milk in the container, it's almost certainly a water-based PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) dressing, totally safe for vinyl, plastic, and rubber.

No idea, I didn't ask him as my brain was like *** !

I guess 2 cap full(1 ounce) should do the trick. I have a jug of AA sitting here for years as well, I am going to try it to deplete this stuff.

I was struck by the OP. Did a full detail on my son's pickup this morning. Did the tires a few days ago but there was some new mud on them. Feeling lazy I finished the QEW wash and had a gallon of the dirty water mix left over. Thought, what the hell and poured 1 oz of armorall into the dirty QEW. Brushed it on the tires and let it set. Used an old damp microfiber to "dry" the tires and was amazed at the look! Not the straight armorall look, mind you, but black with a nice matte sheen! They were clean and certainly appeared to be dressed. GREAT idea! Thanks!!! Might work on wheel wells too!
