AIO truck bed

I was thinking of putting a coat of AIO under my bed mat in my truck bed. You think this is a good idea? Will AIO protect by itself or will i have to apply something else over it?
 
AIO is a great product overall but the protection is simply not there by itself. I applied it by itself on a friend car for testing purposes and it seems it lost all protection in a matter of 2-3 weeks. My suggestion would be to apply a durable sealant such as Klasse Sg or Zaino for example.
 
maybe try some claying, polish of some sort if its scuffed or anything? then you might wanna top it with sg or similar sealant.
 
Is Meguiars NXT a good sealant i have some UPP but dont want to waste it since nobody is gonna see under the bed mat.
 
Don't forget to protect the inside of your tail gate - stuff will tend to move backward as you accelerate......

On the one hand, it does provide a protective layer to the paint, which is good for the water that invariably gets under a mat.



On the other hand it makes a slick surface, which would have the mat more easily moving, which could lead to it wearing through the paint in some areas.
