1. does it matter if polishes are water or solvent based? If so how come and which one is better? 2. Exterior trim dressing with silicone in it good or bad?

Since the economy is not so good, is it really a good time to advertise? I do find alot of detailers are going m.i.a. on the other side we all know salesmen will say anything to make a buck

:hairpullevery now and then I run across cars that have aged brake dust that needs removal. I have this super strong wheel acid however it will eat a rim if there is a clear coat so is there a way to remove aged brake dust on rims with clear coats???

how much do you guys charge for removing spider webs? i am looking at offering this service at a reasonable price. :waxing: how long will will spider web removers last? i 'm not using a glaze????:grrr

sould I list the services that are included in my detail package? I figure quality shoppers will realize that more is included ( compared to compettiors) and see the value is really worth it. People looking for cheap prices might figure they dont need alot of items listed so I can lead them...

:nixweiss what do you guys find to give better results? if i own a extractor should i buy a steamer for seat belts and headliners? if i only need it for seat blets and head liners could i buy a cheap one for these problems?

i have been thinking an i might be wrong but i notice the pc compared to the flex alot a people go with flex because it is more high speed buffer like. so does that mean the high speed buffer is the best? i do think the high speed if trained is better than pc how ever the pc has its uses...

I notice that most customers do not know much about detailing and the procedures. I am trying to make packages to fit there needs, what packages and what is included in them are your most popular? Mine is interior detail or full detail I guess people are like "ok just clean the whole thing".
