    BOSS BEST IN SHOW SYSYEM

What about doing a one-step with one of Griot's All-in-One ("AIO") products? With that approach, once you've finished with the "polishing step" you can quit because the AIO will leave some protection behind. Then you could add something more durable after the next regular wash. I would not...

    BOSS BEST IN SHOW SYSYEM

Bull8791- Griot's has a number of different kits...which of their combos are you looking at? As noted, the G9 is a good unit, especially with a 5" plate. Unless you're planning to do a big correction (aggressive polishing to remove scratches/swirls/etc.) I'd recommend you try an All-In-One...

Hand foam pad to use with Blackfire`s One Step for application/polishing?

Flycaster- Working by hand, as long as you use a remotely sensible product (one-step/all-in-one products will generally qualify), and a "polishing" or "finishing" or even "wax applicator" pad, you won't remove a significant amount of clear so no worries there. Noting how young you are ;) I...

Any Interest in Griot`s New G13 Mini Long-Throw Orbital??

Setec- Gee, that's quite a kit SPTA put together! How does it work? Thinking bogging/etc. Had I not received that iBrid.... And yeah, the overall design and the trigger are what sold me on the GG units.

Any Interest in Griot`s New G13 Mini Long-Throw Orbital??

Setec- Yeah, there were a few versions of the early/wimpy GG 3". I returned mine (maybe their v1.0) when it quit working and they sent a replacement (dunno which version..but it was right before they discontinued them) ...but I never bothered unboxing it as the one I returned was basically...

Any Interest in Griot`s New G13 Mini Long-Throw Orbital??

I've had occasion to use my G13 recently, and I love it! I've only used it with GG 3" pads, but zero complaints and as expected I do greatly prefer it over my Rupes (let alone my PCs). I debated returning my G8when I got the G13, but instead I set the G8 up for use with1-2" pads.

Best MF Towel for Household Dusting?

Setec- OK, thanks for explaining. I wondered since my IUDJ is so superior. On some surfaces IUDJ is mandatory lest the ONR leave streaks.

    Ketch Has Passed Away

Lonnie- No, I meant a T-Bird Super Coupe. That's the one he had talked with me about, unless I'm misremembering.

    Windshield Wiper Maintenance

Dan- yeah, the last one for the A8 (I think that was #3) was probably even more than that, but I'll just pay the $.

    Which AIO?

Every time I use an AIO for my Finishing Polish, I'm completely satisfied and glad I went that route. At least with AIOs you don't have to deal with Polishing Oils, which can drive me nuts. Trying to get [crap] like Meguiar's TSO's out of my paint drives me nuts, and having issues "reappear"...

    Windshield Wiper Maintenance

At least with a replacement the issues are somebody else's problem. Windshields and headlights are things I just replace assuming parts are available, and I'll probably sell the vehicle if they're not.

    Ketch Has Passed Away

Aw gee, really sorry to hear that. I learned so much from him....RIP Ketch. Wonder what'll become of his Super Coupe? He really loved that thing.

    Windshield Wiper Maintenance

No issues from using 303 on the blades? I've never done anything except clean mine and they last pretty much indefinitely. Well, yeah...we're not driving all that much these days, but still...

Best MF Towel for Household Dusting?

Setec- Any significant diffs with those vs. v2.0. I've heard that they're more compatible with LSPs (e.g., Collinite, which v2.0 utterly trashes), but that's all I know to be different.

Best MF Towel for Household Dusting?

Setec- That dilution doesn't streak or cause other issues (I don't use it on glass), and I sure won't mind if I ever use up all of that ONR v2.0.

    3M Perfect-It III 05933 & 05937--Worth Keeping?

Setec & Vegas1- Predictably, I'd keep them if they haven't dried out. Especially the 05937. The only reason I'd waver on the 05933 is that there are newer compounds that are at least as good in any respects I can think of. The 05937 OTOH, I simply *LIKE*. No excessive oiliness, decent...

Best MF Towel for Household Dusting?

Lonnie- AFAIK, Garry Dean is still in business. I guess I'll know for certain when I try to reorder the IUDJ. I tend to  about Garry's online persona, and I know nothing whatsoever about others who use his stuff, but the product was so much better than the (version of) ONR I have...

    Asking for some feedback

I just finished a white vehicle that didn't need to be...or end up...100% Autopian. I.e., under the right conditions I can still see a few spots of marring. As noted, reasonable flaws on white aren't visible to the average enthusiast. I'd use somebody's AIO (like that Menzerna 3-in-1 if you...

Best MF Towel for Household Dusting?

I use 0.75oz. ONR + 16oz. water. For the MF, I won't be of much help as I'm still using up the gross of [whatever GSM they are..] cheapie ones I bought from [somebody...the Rag Co. maybe? dunno..] long ago. No, I don't use something really plush, these are a medium-nap until they wear down and...

What pad for the extra fine polishing step?

Desertnate- IIRC (reasonably confident ;) ), the Rupes Yellow is very similar to the Cyclo (should I now say Cyclo/Rupes?) Green pad that we used for everything. And yeah, when I used the current GG Orange Boss Correcting Pad, I did think to myself that it was a bit firmer than the Cyclo...
